Why are you interested in serving on the HOA Board?
My family of my wife and 3 boys have lived in Lake Pointe for 20 years and this is our forever home. I want to serve the community of Lake Pointe to help maintain the amazing community we have and make it better over time.

Please highlight any involvement in neighborhood events, committees, volunteer work, or other community activities.
I volunteer at my church and my time with other software companies that service homeowners and how to make homeownership easier.

What improvements or changes would you like to see in the community?
I would help facilitate initiatives that 1) keep the value of all our houses and the community desirable and 2) plan for future improvements that continue to add quality of life for the residents and add value over time.

If elected, how would you approach or address the challenges or opportunities you identified in the previous
question?
First, listen; if someone takes the time to express a concern, either in person or by other means, respect that they have taken the time to do so and listen.
Then, consider and discuss requests with the other board members and determine what is best for the greater good of the community.
After that, be transparent and open with homeowners about what is possible, what is planned, and what will be done by when.
Most homeowners, including my family, want to love where they live and feel that their board is the champion for the greater good of the community residents.
I want to be a part of this ongoing tradition I've experienced for the last 20 years as a Lake Pointe homeowner.

Why are you interested in serving on the HOA Board?
I have lived in Lake Pointe since 2003 and have seen many improvements made in our shared spaces like the border walls, at the community center, and the pool, dock and trails and I would like to be part of the planning for the future of our community, helping make decisions that will improve the physical appearance, safety and maintenance to make LakePointe a desirable neighborhood to live, enjoy and increase the value of all of our properties.

Please highlight any involvement in neighborhood events, committees, volunteer work, or other community activities.
I served on the social events team when the homeowners had to plan and carry out the various holiday functions and other social activities.
I posted the monthly activities on the Communications Boards when they used to be used for announcements.
I have participated in many social activities over the years.

What improvements or changes would you like to see in the community?
I do not have any specific improvements in mind but I am willing to work with ideas presented to the Board by all homeowners.

If elected, how would you approach or address the challenges or opportunities you identified in the previous question?
I would listen to the homeowner's requests and opinions and consider the best approach for the good of their request and how that would affect the entire community. I would work to help the Board make decisions which are financially prudent to keep our Dues low, but provide the services needed to maintain a high-quality community.

Why are you interested in serving on the HOA Board?
The main selling points of Lake Pointe for our family were the wonderful amenities it offered and the obvious sense of community present. By being on the board I can be a part of helping ensure this stays at the forefront of what Lake Pointe offers its current and prospective residents. I look forward to being able to represent the neighborhood's interests, voice concerns, communicate transparently with interested parties if I am voted onto the board. I enjoy working in group settings, especially when the topic is maintaining/improving something as personal as the place where we live.

Please highlight any involvement in neighborhood events, committees, volunteer work, or other community activities.

We moved to Lake Pointe almost 2 years ago.
- coached soccer for LTYA for multiple seasons
- volunteer with Lake Pointe Elementary and BC Middle School every week
- referee soccer games at our local youth leagues
- hosted our first annual street brunch/block party last year
- created a street directory going door-to-door to meet the new-to-us neighbors
- joined the Lake Travis Chapter of Young Men in Service League and have been volunteering with my 9th grader at local charities this year
- make an effort to attend as many of the neighborhood functions as possible to make connections with neighbors and support the local businesses helping put these events on

What improvements or changes would you like to see in the community?

With the recent bond project I think many great improvements are already underway and managing the project and assisting with communicating the progress of these improvements would be great. I think there might be additional way to have a neighborhood sharing database that we can utilize somehow to facilitate residents connecting whether it is borrowing a power washer to finding a babysitter or someone to water their plants while they are away. I know many street have group chats within their cup-de-sac, but maybe something could be done via Facebook to connect the residents even further.

If elected, how would you approach or address the challenges or opportunities you identified in the previous question?

Between the other board members and our management company I am sure we could collaborate to identify if opportunities are inline with our neighbor's interests/desires and decide together whether or not to pursue them. Along those same lines with challenges I am very comfortable to stand up for what I feel is right, but work hard to understand all sides of a situation to remain diplomatic and find a solution that can appease all involved versus just saying no.

Why are you interested in serving on the HOA Board?
I want to help manage our community’s development and make this an even better place to live.

Please highlight any involvement in neighborhood events, committees, volunteer work, or other community activities.
We always attend the community events for the holidays and Lake Pointe Moms events.

What improvements or changes would you like to see in the community?
First and foremost I want to be financially responsible for the community. There are various park and infrastructure initiatives underway. Some additional efforts could complement those.

If elected, how would you approach or address the challenges or opportunities you identified in the previous question?
I want to work constructively with other board members and deliver ideal solutions for the community.
